Face Masks at UHD

We are asking all patients and their guests to be covered for all appointments.

If you don’t have a mask, UHD will provide one for you.

For your protection, UHD employees will be masked in patient care areas.

WE ARE HAPPY TO ACCEPT DONATIONS OF CLOTH FACE MASKS. Donation bins are located at our entrance doors. For sewing guidelines, please visit www.cdc.gov/coronavirus or www.health.state.mn.us

TEMPORARY POLICY CHANGES DUE TO COVID-19

UHD is committed to protecting the health and safety of all who visit our hospital and clinics, including patients, visitors and staff. Due to the presence of COVID in our community, we have temporarily updated the following policies. We appreciate your understanding as we follow all recommended guidelines to keep our communities safe.

URGENT CARE: UHD is not currently offering walk-in Urgent Care through our Emergency Room. Please call to schedule a Same Day Appointment, 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

VISITOR POLICY: Effective March 1, 2021, United Hospital District allows patients to have one consistent adult visitor per day. The same visitor will be allowed each day throughout the patient stay, as defined below.

All visitors must successfully complete the screening process of standard pre-screening questions and a temperature check. If a visitor screens positive for any symptoms or exposure to COVID-19, they will not be allowed to visit. Visitors allowed must stay in the patient’s room for the duration of the visit. Masks must be worn at all times, including in a patient’s room. Once the visitor leaves the patient room, they must leave the hospital.
