Our Speech/Language Pathologists assist children and adults who face challenges in understanding or using language, incorrect speech-sound production, stuttering, voice problems or difficulties with eating or swallowing.

Speech therapy includes treatment and services in the following areas:

  • Aphasia
  • Apraxia of speech, including childhood apraxia of speech
  • Cognitive disorders associated with acquired brain injury, stroke and dementia
  • Craniofacial disorders (e.g., cleft lip and palate)
  • Developmental speech, language and communication disorders (e.g., specific language disability, speech sound delay, autism, stuttering)
  • Dysarthria
  • Dysphagia
  • Unexplained acquired voice or speech disorders
  • Voice disorders
